


Well folks, some days is better than others. Today is one of them.
Not only did I get the car back from Robert Davis (APS Auto, long time friend, great fabricator, even better racer). He did a great job on the NASCAR style door bars on drivers side. See pictures, great safety and lots of room , built beyond NASA/SCCA standards. NICE AND SAFE!
I also ended up having lunch with lunch with Jon Milledge, a 944 guru, ex-IMSA Firehawk Champ and race engine builder. ( he just relocated to area from back east) He gave me so much info about 944 S2's in racing it made my head spin and think in many directions, 50 more horsepower, how to make ABS work in racing conditions, shocks...
He will not make Buttonwillow but will become Advisory engineer for team. If time and money permits we may have to spend some time on Chassis and shock dynos.
( We now have more fancy titles on our team now than most Pro Teams)
